ANGOLA, Ind.— Junior forward Tanner Karty (Oklahoma City, OK/) netted his third goal of the weekend to earn the fifth-ranked UW-Stevens Point men's hockey team a 3-2 victory over Trine University Saturday evening at the Thunder Ice Arena.

Midway through the third period, Karty tallied a power-play goal off assists by Ryan Bittner (Crookston, MN/) and Logan Fredericks (Millstone Township, NJ/) to put UWSP (2-0-0) up 3-1 over Trine (0-2-0). Karty's goal would hold on to be the game-winner.
