The UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team will hit the floor for the annual Purple-Gold game on Wednesday (Nov. 9) at 7:00 p.m. at Quandt Fieldhouse.  Admission to the intra-squad scrimmage is free.
 
Head coach Bob Semling will introduce his players and staff and talk about the upcoming season at the game.
 
Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to Quandt on Wednesday.   All food donated will go to "The Cupboard" in the University Center for UWSP students. 
 
The annual pre-game cookout starts at 5:15 p.m. at a cost of $6.00 for a hamburger or hot dog with potato salad, chips, cookie and beverage. 
 
Stevie Pointer will be available for photos beginning at 5:30 p.m.  The Pointers licensed apparel stand will also be open.
