WHITEWATER, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team (5-13-0, 1-6-0) ended the regular season with a 3-0 loss at conference champion UW-Whitewater (18-1-0, 7-0-0) on Saturday.
UWSP found itself at a deficit in the 18th minute as the host Warhawks scored on their 10th shot of the period. UWW doubled its lead in the 32nd minute as the offensive onslaught continued.
The Pointers slowed the Warhawks a bit in the second half, but UW-Whitewater added a third goal in the 64th minute to account for the final tally.
The Pointers mustered just five shots in the match to the Warhawks' 28. Sophomore
Kortnee Hass (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg) had two of UWSP's shots. Freshmen
Maddy Hardyman (Red Wing, MN/Red Wing) and
Reilly Louko (Oakfield, WI/North Fond du Lac) had the Pointers' two shots on net.

Sarah Peplinski (Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) made six saves in 45 minutes and fellow sophomore
Olivia Mecham (Waunakee, WI/Waunakee) made five saves during the other 45 minutes.
