LA CROSSE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's swimming and diving team picked up two dual wins over Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) opponents, topping UW-La Crosse 130.0-113.0 and UW-Oshkosh 124.0-63.0 on Saturday.

UWSP-UWL ResultsHans Peters (Naperville, IL) won both the 200 free (1:45.00) and 200 butterfly (1:59.32) in both meets.
Matthew Parks took the 500 free in both meets with a time of 4:56.24.
In the 200 breaststroke,
Justin Fernandez (Chicago, IL) was the first to touch the wall in both meets with a time of 2:16.59.
Evan Catani (St. Louis, MO) won the 1,000 free in both meets, coming in at 10:09.43.
The 400 medley relay team of
Ethan Bott (Whitefish Bay, WI), Zach Ogurek,
Sam Jekel (Madison, WI) and Peters won the event in both meets in 3:33.26.
Against UW-La Crosse,
Sam Jekel (Madison, WI) won the 100 freestyle (47.57) and
Caleb Miller (La Crosse, WI) won the 500 freestyle (4:52.62).
UW-Stevens Point competes at the University of Minnesota Challenge this weekend, Feb. 6-7, beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday evening.
