Ellen Drewry (Waunakee, WI/Waunakee) tallied a team-high 14 kills on just 23 swings (.565) to lead the 16th-ranked UW-Stevens Point volleyball team to a Senior Day victory over UW-River Falls, 3-0.

Gabby Thomas (Henderson, MN/LeSueur-Henderson) and
Emma Brunkhorst (Germantown, WI/Germantown) tallied nine and eight kills, respectively, and
Kelly Cefalu (Waunakee, WI/Waunakee) added seven, joining Drewry in a balanced offensive attack in which the Pointers hit a combined .309 on the afternoon.
Brittany Laffin (Carpentersville, IL/Hampshire) tallied 32 of the team's 37 assists and senior
Hannah Picel (West Bend, WI/West) tallied 23 digs on the afternoon in the victory.
UW-Stevens Point (24-7, 4-3 WIAC) qualifies for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's postseason tournament for the seventh-straight season. The Pointers will be the No. 5 seed and travel to UW-Eau Claire for a match-up against the fourth-seeded Blugolds on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
The winner advances to face top-seeded UW-Oshkosh on Friday, Nov. 6 in Oshkosh, Wis.
