LA CROSSE, Wis.- The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point men's swimming and diving team, splashed to a first place finish at the River City Relays at UW-La Crosse on Saturday afternoon.

The Pointers complied 150 points, while UW-La Crosse was second with 100, and Luther was third with 86. The Pointers won 11 of the 12 relays contested.
Senior
Joey Clapp (Faribault, MN/) set two pool records on the day, swimming a 20.53 leg in the 200-freestyle relay and a 45.85 leg in the 400 freestyle relay.

The women's team placed third out of four teams, accumulating 86 points. UW-La Crosse won the meet with 132 points, Minnesota State second with 124, and Luther fourth with 76.
The women's 400-yard freestyle relay placed second with a time of 3:41.96, 3x100-yard butterfly relay placed second with a time of 3:03.38, and the 400-yard medley relay placed second with a time of 4:10.42.
The Pointers next travel to Wheaton, Ill. on Nov. 30 for a three day Wheaton Invitational.
