McCarty Memorial Field

Location: Corner of Illinois Ave. and Maria Drive on UWSP campus

Located at the corner of Illinois Avenue and Maria Drive, the field is home to the UW-Stevens Point softball team. McCarty Field underwent renovations in 2007 that included new dugouts and bleachers. A new playing surface was also installed. The press box was added to the facility in 2000.

It is named for Diane McCarty, who pitched two seasons for the Pointers and died while playing softball from an undiagnosed heart defect, myocardiopathy.
