Coe is in his third year as an assistant coach with the Pointers baseball program where he focuses primarily on coaching the catchers.  

As a Pointers baseball alumni, Coe was part of the 2006 fifth-place finish College World Series team, third-place finish team in 2007 and the NCAA Regionals in 2008.

In his 2006 season, Coe played in a school record 53 games. He ranked second in the WIAC with 13 home runs and 117 total bases, earning honorable mention All-WIAC and second-team All-Midwest laurels. He also earned all-region honors after hitting three home runs in the Midwest Regional Tournament.  In 2008, Coe was selected as WIAC Position Player of the Year, first-team all-region, second-team D3Baseball.com All-American and first-team ABCA All-American.

Coe was inducted into the UW-Stevens Point Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018, becoming one of 19 Pointers baseball alumni to be recognized.

He graduated from UWSP ­­­with a degree in elementary education and a coaching certificate in 2009. He completed a master’s degree in athletic administration from Ohio University.
