Destache recorded her first back-to-back double-digit scoring games in nearly a year to help UW-Stevens Point claim a berth in the WIAC tournament this week. The senior scored 10 points in a 64-52 loss at UW-Whitewater on Wednesday and 11, all in the second half, in a 69-64 victory at UW-Stout on Saturday. Destache shot 2-for-5 from behind the arc in both games and shot a combined 7-for-16 (43.8 percent) from the field this week. She also contributed 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in 15.0 minutes a game.
