University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Jordan Schulte, sophomore (Mosinee, Wis., Mosinee), won the 165 pound title at this past weekend’s Pointer Open.  Schulte first defeated Garret Bonte of Luther College with a 10-5 decision.  In the second round Schulte defeated James Marker of UW- Lacrosse by a pin at the 3:27 mark.  Schulte then defeated Alex Yde and Ben Cox both of UW- Madison, by decisions to win the title.
