Lutz scored a career-high 24 points to help No. 18 UW-Stevens Point remain unbeaten in conference play with a 58-51 win at UW-River Falls on Saturday night. The senior scored 18 of his 24 in the first half and hit two threes in a span of 1:04 late in the second half as the Pointers held off the Falcons. Lutz was 8-for-14 from the field, including a career-best 6-for-10 from behind the arc, in the win. Earlier in the week, he had 10 points, including two threes, in a 57-46 victory over UW-La Crosse. For the week, Lutz shot 50.0 percent (11-for-22) from the field, 57.1 percent (8-for-14) from three-point range and 66.7 percent (4-for-6) from the free-throw line. He averaged 17.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 30.0 minutes a game.
