Pelkofer averaged 17.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in three games before break for 20th-ranked UW-Stevens Point. The junior matched his career high with 19 points in a 68-66 loss at No. 6 St. Thomas and a 71-65 win at No. 23 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. He also added 15 points and six rebounds in a 57-49 victory at Pomona-Pitzer. For the three-game stretch, Pelkofer shot 61.3 percent (19-of-31) from the field, including 55.6 percent (10-of-18) from three-point range. He also added four assists and just two turnovers in 37.3 minutes a game.
