Staci Pomering, sophomore (Roscoe, Ill., / Hononegah) increased her four game unbeaten streak with two victories this past weekend.  On Friday facing St. Thomas, Pomering faced 24 shots stopping 23 including nine shots with St. Thomas on the power-play.  In the re-match on Saturday Pomering was spectacular as she recorded saves on two break-aways to give the Pointers a one goal win.  Pomering's 17 saves on Saturday brings her season total to 91 saves with a .938 save percentage.
