Ethan Firgens, junior (Suring, Wis., / Suring), was the star of the Pointer kick-off coverage unit this past weekend at UW-River Falls.  On four consecutive kick-offs Firgens was first down the field and recorded the tackle.  Firgens’s efforts held River Falls to under 15 yards per kick return.  With less than four minutes remaining Firgens recovered a fumble on a Falcon kick return that clinched the Pointer win.  Firgens finished the day with six tackles, all on special teams.
