Vallafskey recorded two fourth-quarter interceptions as No. 17 UW-Stevens Point defeated host UW-River Falls 17-14 in its conference opener on Saturday. The senior’s second interception of the game came at his own four-yard line with one second remaining to seal the win. He also intercepted a pass with 2:28 remaining with UW-River Falls in UWSP territory. Vallafskey also had nine tackles in the game, including eight solo stops.
