Almonte rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries in a 37-21 comeback win at Coe on Saturday. The freshman broke off scoring runs of 58, 29 and 14 yards in just his second collegiate game. Almonte’s 29-yard scoring run gave the Pointers breathing room at 30-21 late in the third quarter and his 58-yard burst gave UWSP a three-score lead early in the fourth.
