Longmeyer had 4.5 total tackles, including one for a loss, one interception and a pass break-up to help the UW-Stevens Point football team top Albion 42-31 in its season opener on Saturday night. With Albion threatening to score on its opening possession, Longmeyer intercepted a pass in the end zone to keep the Britons off the scoreboard.
