Allie Tanzer, freshman (Chippewa Falls Wis., / Chippewa Falls), started her Pointer career with a bang.  Playing in her first collegiate game, Tanzer assisted on the first UWSP goal of the 2010 season 16 minutes into the season opening game at St. Olaf College.  Tanzer assisted on another goal just two minutes later.  Midway through the second period Tanzer again assisted on a goal to put the Pointers up 4-1.  With six minutes gone in the third period Tanzer found the back of the net to record the first goal of her Pointer hockey career and secure the Pointer win.  In a re-match on Saturday Tanzer scored the game tying goal at the end of the second period in a game that UWSP would eventually win 4-3.
