In a 7-3 victory at Ripon on Wednesday, the senior gave up just one hit and one walk in 4.1 innings of work and struck out three. In his first start of the season at UW-Stout on Sunday, Flood yielded two runs in a career-high six innings of a 4-3 win. For the week, the senior was 2-0 with a 1.74 ERA. In 10.1 innings, he gave up two runs on nine hits, walked two and recorded six strikeouts. Opponents hit .231 against Flood during the week.
