Morrison threw 8.1 scoreless innings over three relief appearances at the Big Blue Tournament in Decatur, Ill., as UW-Stevens Point went 2-2 this weekend. The freshman gave up just seven hits and struck out 11 over the 8.1 innings. Morrison’s best outing was a four shutout inning appearance that included seven strikeouts. The strong pitching extended Morrison’s shutout streak to 17.1 innings, which includes 26 strikeouts.
