Burke broke the school record in the pole vault this weekend at the Tadd Metzger Invitational. After being tied for first with Jessica Wiegert of Carroll, the competition went into a vault-off for the top spot. In the vault-off, Burke cleared 3.55m (11’7.75) for the win, setting a new personal-best and breaking the school record. Her mark currently ranks first in the WIAC and 11th in Division-III.
