In two wins for the top-ranked Pointers this week, Tillema eclipsed the 1,000-career point mark by averaging 19.5 points per game in wins over No. 8 UW-Whitewater and Saint John’s. The senior became the 31st player in UWSP program history to achieve the milestone. Tillema scored 17 points and had a season and team-high seven rebounds in a 79-67 win over the eighth-ranked Warhawks. He then shot 8-for-12 from the field on his way to 22 points and five boards in a 71-51 victory against Saint John’s.
