In nine matches this week, Koranda posted an 8-1 record for UW-Stevens Point. Of his eight wins, seven came by pinning his opponent. In a dual with Division-II UW-Parkside, Koranda began his week with a pin in 2:04. He then lost his opening round match at the Concordia (Wis.) Open on Saturday before recording seven straight victories, six by pin, to secure a third-place finish.
