Tyler was named the MVP and Chairman of the Boards (leading rebounder) at the Pointer Tip-Off Classic this weekend after leading UW-Stevens Point to a pair of wins. Tyler averaged 9.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals and shot .615 from the field in the two games, including a double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds in a 64-61 win over Lake Forest in the team’s season opener on Friday.
