Vitale helped the Pointers to their first win of the season with a goal and an assist in the 3-1 victory over Marian University on Wednesday, September 18^th. The junior forward recorded 8 total shots against Marian, including 7 shots on goal.  She also played a significant role in the 3-2 win over Simpson College on Saturday, September 21st, taking one of the Pointers nine shots of the game.
