Brown went undefeated in singles action this week, picking up wins in both matches played this week. Brown defeated Lawrence’s Jennifer Roesch 6-1, 6-2 for one of only two singles victories in a 5-4 loss to the Vikings. In the Pointers conference opener Saturday against River Falls, Brown again tallied one of only two singles victories, defeating UWRF’s No. 1 Jenny Paxton 6-4, 6-4. Brown also went 1-1 in doubles action on the week with partner Taylor Weuve.
