Freshman Alexis Hartman (Lake Zurich, IL/Lake Zurich) was the recipient of the Female Freshman Team Sport Athlete of the Year award. Hartman was named an American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Midwest Region honoree and a First Team All-WIAC performer in her first year with the Pointers. She led the team with 941 assists and recorded 30 service aces. She appeared in 123 sets and played in all 34 of the team's matches. Hartman also tallied 109 total blocks on the season, leading the Pointers to their first conference title in 30 years and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time since 1985.
