Senior Kelly Haen (Kaukauna, WI/Kaukauna) took home the Individual Sport Female Athlete of the Year award. Haen was a four-time All-American in her final season with the Pointers. Haen was the lone qualifier for UWSP's cross country team and finished 13th at nationals (21:24.05). She was named the WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar Athlete award-winner and finished as the league's runner-up at the conference championship. On the track, Haen was just as impressive. She claimed All-American honors during the indoor season with an eighth-place finish in the mile run. She was also the conference champion in the 3000-meter indoor run. In the outdoor season Haen tacked on two more All-American awards, one in the 5000-meter run and another in the 10,000-meter run.
