Sophomore Kyle Heck (Plover, WI/SPASH) took home the Team Sport Male Athlete of the Year award. Heck, a forward on the men's hockey team, was named a Second Team West Region All-American this season after leading the team to the Peters Cup Championship game for the first time since 2000. Heck earned team Most Valuable Player honors in his second season, scoring a league-best 20 goals including five game-winners. He was a First Team All-NCHA honoree, leading the Pointers to a 14-11-4 record.
