Tillema led the 18th-ranked Pointers to a 2-0 record against two tough MIAC opponents. Against the defending national champion, St. Thomas, Tillema recorded a double-double as he tallied 18 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 55 percent from the field. Against St. Olaf, the senior had 21 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals while shooting 54 percent. For the two games, Tillema averaged an impressive 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists.
