Tyler led the seventh-ranked Pointers to a 1-1 record this week. UWSP’s first loss of the season came to Point Loma, an NAIA Division I institution, in the Surf N’ Slam Tournament in San Diego, Cali. Tyler scored 11 points and tallied five rebounds in the loss. Against Wellesley, Tyler had eight points and six rebounds in the 62-43 win. In the two tournament games, Tyler shot .727 from the floor and averaged 9.5 points and 5.5 rebounds.
