The Pointers pushed their unblemished record to 10-0 this week thanks to convincing victories over UW-Whitewater, 71-50 and Lawrence, 74-38. UWSP was led by senior Cassie Bandow who shot an impressive 55 percent from the field (11-20) and from behind the arc (6-11) in the victories. Against UWW, Bandow tallied 13 points, five assists and three rebounds while scoring 15 points and hauling in five rebounds in just 14 minutes of play against Lawrence. Bandow also played stellar defense for the Pointers, holding UW-Whitewater’s Mary Merg, the WIAC leading scorer, to just seven points.
