Averkamp led the 11^th ranked Pointers to a perfect 3-0 start last week. The senior post player made her presence felt in all three convincing wins, recording 12, 18 and eight points over St. Thomas, Finlandia and Alverno, respectively. Averkamp shot 60 percent from the field in three games and was voted Most Outstanding Player of the Pointer Tip-Off Classic this weekend.
