Casey Barnes, freshman, (Mequon, Wis., / Homestead), started his second game of the season and went 3-5 with three singles in an extra inning win at UW-La Crosse.  Entering the 11^th inning Barnes hit a single to ignite a three run inning and give the Pointers the one point win.  At UW-Superior, Barnes had his best day as a Pointer with a 5-5 performance including his second collegiate double to go along with four singles.  Wrapping up the four game series in Superior, Barnes hit his first Pointer homerun.  In six games Barnes batted .571 with hits in five games, three extra bases hits and three RBI’s.
