 For the second week in a row, pitcher Scott Williams, senior (Baraboo, Wis., / Baraboo), is a Pointer Athlete of the Week.  In two appearances Williams earned two wins to add to his team high six wins in 2011.  At UW-La Crosse, Williams pitched eight innings striking out a season high ten batters while scattering ten hits and forcing six groundouts.  Four days later at UW-Superior Williams pitched his fourth complete game of the season with a masterful three hit performance.  Williams bested his career high and season high for strikeouts, striking out 15 of the 35 batters he faced.  In four of the nine innings he faced the minimum three batters and stranded six superior base runners.  Williams leads the Pointers in innings pitched and strikeouts and is the only Pointer pitcher to register a complete game this season.
