In cold rainy sleeting conditions Terry Witkowski, junior (Wales, Wis., / Kettle Moraine), ran a career best 10,000 meter race and took home his first event title of the 2011 outdoor season at the 2011 Meet of Champions hosted by Augustana College.  Witkowski finished with a time of 30:46.36 more than three seconds faster than the second place finisher and fast enough to earn a provisional qualifying spot in this spring’s NCAA Championships.
