Sara Babbits, freshman, (Green Bay, Wis., / Ashwaubenon), earned three wins in three appearances this past week.  In the seventh inning of a tie game with Ripon College Babbits entered the game with two Red hawks on base.  Babbits forced a groundout to get out of the jam and enable the Pointers to win the game in the bottom half of the inning.  In the second game of the doubleheader Babbits started and proceeded to throw a five inning complete game win.  Babbits allowed only four hits while walking no one and striking out one.  Later in the week Babbits pitched another complete game win, without allowing an earned run and striking out two.  For the season Babbits is 7-5 in 16 appearances and has struck out 27.
