Penzkover qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the mile run with a time of 4:08.83. Penzkover recorded his qualifying time, a personal best, at the La Crosse Final Qualifier on March 8, where he took second place.

Paulsen tossed 5.0 shutout innings in the season opener at WashU on Saturday. He struck out five and stranded base runners aboard in four of the five innings.
