Ryan Iverson, junior (Eau Claire, Wis., / North) entered in the late innings to preserve three Pointer wins this past week.  At Ripon College, Iverson entered in the eighth inning with Pointers up by two.  Iverson pitched two scoreless, hitless innings to secure the Pointer win and his fifth save of the season.  In game one of a doubleheader against nationally UW-Whitewater, Iverson entered the game in the seventh inning and finished the game without allowing a Whitewater base runner and striking out two.  In the second game of the afternoon Iverson entered in the top of the ninth and again shutdown the Warhawks without allowing a hit.  For the week Iverson pitched five innings didn’t allow a hit or a walk and struck-out four while earning two saves to increase his season total to a team high six saves.
