Lillquist logged a third-place finish in the triple jump at the Platteville Invitational. His personal-best mark of 14.37 meters (47' 1.75") was good enough to slot him into the 10^th best mark nationally and fourth best in the conference.

Jacob Meinholz (Baseball)
Meinholz struck out a career-high seven in UWSP’s game two win at Stout on Saturday. He went 5.0 innings and gave up just one run while holding batters to a .118 average.

Anthony Tomczak (Baseball)
Tomczak hit .407 over UWSP’s six games last week. He belted three home runs in UWSP’s four-game series at Stout over the weekend, including a grand slam in Saturday’s game one victory.  He had four multi-hit games on the week and at least one extra-base hit in five of the six game. He totaled 11 hits and 11 RBI over the six games.

Steven Benoy and Frederick Diehl (Tennis)
Benoy and Diehl won an 8-4 decision at No. 1 doubles in Friday’s conference match against UW-Eau Claire. They won an 8-2 match against Elmhurst on Saturday.

Braedon Gilles (Track & Field)
Gilles continued his dominance in the 800-meter run with notching another first-place finish at the Platteville Invitational. His mark of 1:53.01 currently slots the runner at second in the conference and 38^th nationally in the 800.

Ethan Mehlberg (Golf)
Mehlberg had a productive day at the Lake Forest Invite to open the spring season for the Pointers. He tied for 11th with a 76, four strokes behind the event winners.
