University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Forward Sammy Greer, sophomore (Rubicon, Wis.), led the Pointers to an overtime victory against the University of Redlands (Calif.) this past weekend.  Greer scored her second and third goals of the season in a 2-1 Stevens Point win.  Greer opened the game’s scoring just 16 minutes into the first half.  Seven minutes into overtime Greer took a centering pass, outraced a Redlands defender and beat the Redlands goalie with a shot into the upper center of the net for the sudden death game winning goal.
