Matzke earned two more wins at the Millikin Invite over the weekend. She picked up the win over No. 22 and host Millikin on Saturday with 4.0 innings of three-hit ball. She did not allow an earned run. Then on Sunday, she notched another victory with an identical 4.0 IP, three hit, no earned runs line. She struck out six and ran her season-opening streak to 17.2 with an earned run allowed.

Kaitlyn Roberts (Softball)
Roberts hit a team-best .417 over UWSP’s four games at the Millikin Invite last week. She went 2-for-4 in the win over No. 22 Millikin on Saturday. Then on Sunday. Roberts went 2-for-2 with 2 walks, two RBI and a stolen base in a win over Grinnell. In the nightcap, she added another hit, her second triple of the day with another RBI and a run scored.
Marissa Van Dyke (Lacrosse)
Van Dyke netted the Pointers women's lacrosse program's first-ever goal on an unassisted shot in front of two defenders against Hamline (Mar. 9). She also dished out two assists becoming the first UWSP women's lacrosse player to record an assist.
Ngao Shoua Whitethorn (Wrestling)
Whitethorn placed sixth in the 130 bracket with a win by tech fall, 12-2, in her first match at NCWWC Championships (Mar. 9). In the fifth-place match, she came up short in a 7-3 decision.
