After a year away from the sport, Spatz returned in prime form winning the 600-meter run at the Pointer Alumni meet with a time of 1:43.87.

Gabby Gawlitta (Basketball)
Gawlitta averaged 12 points per game over UWSP’s two conference games last week. She scored eight, tying for the team high, as the Pointers’ defense held No. 4 UWW to its lowest scoring output of the season. Then on Saturday, she had a team-high 16 points in a home win over UWEC. For the week, she had 12 rebounds, went 4-for-4 from the free-throw line and shot .529 (9-17) from the field.

Amelia Retzlaff (Track & Field)
Retzlaff finished second in the weight throw at the Pointer Alumni meet with a new personal best of 14.41 meters, a meter farther than her previous best.

Anne Beck (Hockey)
Beck made the start against No. 1 ranked UW-River Falls and posted 56 saves, the third-most in a game in school history and just three shy of the program record.
