Gawlitta propelled the Pointers to their best start since the 2003-04 season as UWSP returned from winter break 11-0 and ranked No. 25 in the nation (d3hoop.com). On Dec. 29, she would tack on eight points after shooting 4-of-8 from the field with seven boards in a win over Grinnell. On Dec. 30, Gawlitta poured in a season-high 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting to help UWSP rally to remain unbeaten on the season. It was one off her career high.
