Nigbur posted back-to-back shutouts in net for the Pointers on Saturday and Sunday. She needed to make just two saves in the shutout win over UW-Stout to open league play on Saturday. Then on Sunday, she had four more saves to notch the second clean sheet within 24 hours in a 0-0 draw at Saint Mary’s.

Gabby Dunn (Women's Soccer)
Dunn scored two goals, both in wins, in UWSP’s matches last week. She scored an insurance goal in a 2-0 win over Beloit on Wednesday, her second goal of the season. Then on Saturday, Dunn drew a PK and converted the kick from the spot, the eventual game-winner in the conference opener against UW-Stout.
Rachel Krouse (Women's Cross Country)
Krouse, in her 2023 season debut, found herself in the top-10 after running a time of 22:34.0 to finish just five seconds out of the top-five. Krouse placed seventh at the Blugold Invitational to guide the Pointers to a 16th-place finish.
Kate Downie (Women's Golf)
Downie finished the weekend at the head of the Pointers golfers at the Mad Dawg Invitational, as she posted a strong day two with an 86. Downie finished tied for 16th and managed to move up four spots from her previous rank after shooting a 45 through nine holes on day one.
