Johnson won the WIAC title int eh 400-meter dash with a personal record time of 57.22. Her victory came by a margin of just 0.30 seconds.

Rachel Krouse, Track and Field
Krouse won the 10,000-meter run at the WIAC Championships in her first time runnning the event this outdoor season. Her winning time of 36:47.02 was more than 24 seconds faster than the runner-up.
Jesse Klicker, Softball
Klicker hit .471 with nine runs scored and six RBI in UWSP’s six games in the final week of the regular season. In Wednesday’s home doubleheader against UW-Oshkosh, she doubled, had an RBI, scored a run and made a spectacular diving catch. Klicker had four hits, four runs scored and two RBI in a sweep of Dubuque on Thursday. Then on Sunday, she added three more hits, scored four times and drove in three as UWSP secured a spot in the WIAC Tournament with a sweep at UW-Stout. Three of Klicker’s eight hits were doubles and she added three walks and three stolen bases.

Makenna Tkach, Softball
Tkach posted a measly 1.29 earned run average over 21.2 innings as she pitched in all six games for UWSP last week. She struck out one in each game against UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday tossing 3.0 frames in both games with no hits given up in game two to earn the save. She went 5.2 innings over two games against Dubuque on Thursday, both UWSP wins. Then on Sunday, she was lights out earning the win in both games at UW-Stout with 5.0 shutout frames in each game as UWSP secured a spot in the WIAC Tournament.
