Paulsen pitched a complete game, one-hit shutout on Sunday in a run-rule win over UW-Stout. He went all seven innings with a career-high 11 strikeouts. He allowed just three base runners – an intentional walk, a single and a base on balls. Paulsen is now 4-0 on the season.

Comer drove in 12 of UWSP’s 50 runs scored in a four-game sweep of UW-Stout over the weekend. He also scored eight runs to account for 40% of the Pointers’ run production. He belted three home runs, two in Sunday’s game one victory, added two doubles and two sac flies. He also was 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts. He hit .417, slugged 1.333 and had a .550 on-base percentage for the week.
