Zygowski posted a 0.58 earned run average over 12.0 innings in four appearances last week. She struck out 13 hitters with just one earned run against. She shut out UW-Whitewater on one hit in Tuesday’s home opener with six strikeouts. In game two, she pitched a perfect inning with two more strikeouts. On Saturday at UW-Platteville, she struck out five in a combined 7.0 innings against the Pioneers.
