University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Van Ess racked up 10 hits, five of which were for extra bases, in UWSP’s four game series at UW-La Crosse. He hit .588 (10-for-17) with 19 total bases and a slugging percentage of 1.118. He hit a home run in each game of Saturday’s doubleheader and added three doubles on the weekend. He hit safely in all four games with back-to-back 4-for-5 games in the middle of the series. He scored nine runs and drove in seven in the series.
