Hill tallied the game-winner for the UWSP men's hockey team in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. His goal at 9:28 of the fourth overtime ended the longest game in UWSP history and the seond longest DIII game ever.

Comer went 3-for-4 with a walk, reaching base four times in the win over Millikin on Monday to wrap up an unbeaten opening weekend. He scored a run in the pivotal 10^th inning. Comer completed the opening weekend of games with a .417 batting average.

Sidney Ferry, Baseball
Ferry picked up the win in relief as UWSP improved to 3-0 on the year with a 4-2 win in 10 innings at Millikin on Monday. He tossed a scoreless, hitless ninth inning to push the game to extras. Then after the Pointers posted two runs in the top on the 10^th, he shut the door with another scoreless, hitless inning in the 10^th. He struck out one in each inning and the only runner to reach base was on a fielding error. He is now 1-0 with a save after opening weekend.
